About Jessica
Jessica Dumas is a Jacksonville, Florida attorney who has devoted her legal career to helping people seeking Social Security Disability benefits. She began representing Social Security Disability claimants during a law school internship and found the work so meaningful that she chose disability law as her area of practice. Since then, she has focused exclusively on disability law for more than 20 years, helping individuals navigate the complex process of pursuing Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) and Supplemental Security Income (SSI) benefits.
Through The Law Office of Jessica Dumas, she represents disability claimants throughout North and Central Florida and Southeast Georgia. Her practice includes helping clients understand the Social Security disability process, prepare their claims, respond to challenges, and pursue appeals when benefits are denied. Jessica is known for approaching disability cases with compassion, careful preparation, and a strong commitment to advocating for people whose health conditions affect their ability to work and support themselves. She is admitted to practice in Florida and the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida and is a member of the Jacksonville Bar Association, Jacksonville Beach Bar Association, and the National Organization of Social Security Claimants’ Representatives (NOSSCR). She is also a former chair of the Jacksonville Bar Association Social Security Committee and a recipient of Florida Bar and Jacksonville Area Legal Aid pro bono awards.
