About William
William Mattar built his legal career around a straightforward purpose: helping people who have been injured in motor vehicle accidents. After beginning his professional journey in New York, he founded his law firm in Williamsville in 1990 and eventually concentrated the practice exclusively on motor vehicle accident injury cases. Today, he serves as the firm’s owner and president, overseeing a statewide practice that assists individuals injured in car, truck, motorcycle, bicycle, pedestrian, and rideshare accidents. The firm also handles matters involving distracted or impaired driving, defective motor vehicles, and wrongful death.
Mattar brings more than three decades of legal experience to his work. Under his leadership, the firm has represented tens of thousands of people injured in motor vehicle accidents throughout New York State, with offices and intake locations serving communities including Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse, Albany, and Long Island. His professional background includes admission to practice in New York and multiple other jurisdictions, as well as the Supreme Court of the United States.
His involvement extends beyond representing accident victims. Mattar has held leadership positions with several professional and civic organizations and has maintained a long-standing connection with the Boy Scouts of America, Greater Niagara Frontier Council. He has chaired its annual fundraising dinner since 2002 and has received the organization’s Silver Beaver Award. His community activities also include safety initiatives and charitable programs supporting local families and organizations.
