About Erica
Erica Colon is a personal injury attorney at The Perecman Firm in New York, where she represents people who have suffered serious injuries in accidents. Her interest in law began during college, when a summer internship at a district attorney’s office introduced her to legal work. While attending law school, she gained experience at a personal injury firm, assisting victims of medical malpractice and asbestos exposure. These early experiences helped shape her decision to focus on representing injured individuals and their families.
Erica earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Ithaca College in 2009 and received her Juris Doctor from Syracuse University College of Law in 2013. She handles cases involving construction accidents, workplace injuries, premises accidents, and vehicle accidents. Her experience includes mediating disputes and participating in trials, along with helping clients pursue compensation for injuries and their related consequences. She is also OSHA-10 certified and admitted to practice in New York, as well as the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York.
