About Krystina
Krystina Barner is an Arkansas attorney focused on Social Security Disability law and dedicated to helping individuals navigate complex legal and benefits-related challenges. Her interest in advocacy began early, inspired by the work of The Innocence Project and its efforts to protect the rights of individuals involved in the justice system. Before becoming an attorney, Barner spent three years working as a paralegal in Social Security Disability and personal injury matters, including two years with Rainwater, Holt & Sexton. That experience gave her valuable insight into the concerns clients face when seeking legal assistance.
After earning her law degree in 2020, Barner returned to Rainwater, Holt & Sexton and joined the firm’s Social Security Disability practice. Her background includes legal research involving elder abuse and neglect legislation, as well as experience supporting clients through detailed legal matters. Licensed to practice in Arkansas and California, she brings an advocacy-focused approach to her work and remains committed to serving individuals and families throughout her community. Outside of her legal practice, Barner enjoys traveling, hiking, attending concerts, and supporting the Arkansas Razorbacks.
