About Robert
Robert E. Patterson is a seasoned personal injury attorney and partner at Garnett Patterson Injury Lawyers in Huntsville, Alabama. With more than four decades of legal experience, he has represented thousands of clients throughout North Alabama in personal injury, wrongful death, and workers’ compensation matters.
Over the course of his career, Robert has handled complex litigation in both state and federal courts. Before joining forces with Hunter Garnett, he founded Patterson Law Firm, where he developed a strong reputation for representing injured individuals and pursuing claims involving defective products. His experience includes securing significant verdicts and advocating for clients facing serious injuries and other life-changing circumstances.
In April 2023, Robert was appointed Interim District Court Judge for civil claims in Madison County. His time on the bench provided additional insight into how civil cases are evaluated from the judicial perspective, which he now brings to his work representing clients.
Robert is a native of Madison County and is bilingual in Spanish and English. He has been recognized as a Distinguished Peer Rated attorney by Martindale-Hubbell and as a Martindale-Hubbell Client Champion. Outside his legal practice, he enjoys cycling, farming, and spending time with his family.
