About Rob
Rob Astorino, Jr. is a Louisville trial attorney and partner at Stein Whatley Astorino, PLLC whose practice extends well beyond traditional personal injury litigation. He represents individuals facing serious injuries and families pursuing wrongful death claims, while also handling civil disputes involving businesses, insurance companies, and government entities.
His personal injury practice includes car, truck, and motorcycle collisions, slip and fall incidents, medical malpractice, and other cases involving significant harm caused by negligence or wrongful conduct. Astorino also represents families in wrongful death matters and has developed experience with cases involving complex questions of liability and damages.
Another significant part of Astorino’s practice involves civil rights litigation. He has successfully represented individuals alleging violations of their constitutional rights by local governments, police officers, and other government employees in actions brought under Section 1983. His broader civil litigation work includes consumer fraud, insurance coverage denials, bad-faith claims, consumer protection matters, and contractual disputes.
Astorino also leads the firm's business services practice, advising small and medium-sized businesses in pre-litigation matters and commercial disputes, including breach of contract and partnership disagreements. He has represented clients in both state and federal courts, including matters before the Kentucky Supreme Court, and is admitted in Kentucky as well as several federal courts and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. He has also been recognized on the Super Lawyers Rising Stars list and completed the Kentucky Justice Association Leadership Academy in 2024.
