About Jimmy
Jimmy Kaufman is a Louisville, Kentucky attorney with deep family and professional roots in the state. As a third-generation lawyer, he grew up around the legal profession and developed an interest in practicing law at an early age. He now practices alongside his father, Marshall Kaufman, and his identical twin brother, Matt, at Kaufman & Stigger, PLLC. His work focuses on helping people and families dealing with the consequences of serious accidents and injuries.
Jimmy has experience representing clients in personal injury matters involving automobile accidents, pedestrian collisions, and wrongful death claims. The firm’s published case results include substantial settlements in bus, car, and pedestrian accident cases. He is a member of the Kentucky Bar Association, Louisville Bar Association, American Association for Justice, and Kentucky Justice Association. Outside of his legal practice, Jimmy remains closely connected to his family and community. Away from work, he enjoys spending time with his wife, children, and dogs, as well as relaxing at the lake, fishing, and swimming.
