About Eric
Eric T. Eberwine brings an unusual perspective to personal injury litigation: before representing injured individuals, he spent nearly two decades defending insurance companies against personal injury claims. He also previously worked as a senior claim representative for an insurance company. That background has given him firsthand experience with the way insurers evaluate claims, investigate losses, and challenge or limit compensation.
Today, Eberwine represents seriously injured clients through Stein Whatley Astorino, PLLC, serving individuals in Kentucky and Indiana. His practice includes litigation involving car and truck accidents, motorcycle crashes, slip and fall injuries, insurance coverage disputes, product liability, construction-related claims, bad faith matters, medical malpractice, and wrongful death.
His experience extends to both trial and appellate litigation. Eberwine is admitted to practice in Kentucky and Indiana, as well as several federal courts, including the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals. His published case experience includes matters involving trucking accidents, catastrophic injuries, insurance disputes, commercial litigation, and other complex civil claims.
Eberwine approaches injury cases with the benefit of having worked on the defense side of insurance disputes before dedicating his practice to representing injured people. This perspective allows him to evaluate a claim with an understanding of the issues that may arise during investigation, negotiation, litigation, and appeals.
