Robert J. Leoni is a Delaware trial lawyer and founding partner of Shelsby & Leoni, P.A., with more than 34 years of experience trying cases before juries in Delaware state and federal courts. His practice is focused on representing individuals and families facing the consequences of serious injuries, medical negligence, and wrongful death. Throughout his career, he has developed a reputation for thorough case preparation, strong courtroom advocacy, and a determined approach to pursuing justice for his clients.
Leoni handles complex personal injury, medical malpractice, wrongful death, and other severe injury matters arising from negligence. His experience includes cases involving significant and life-changing injuries, where careful investigation and effective trial strategy can play an important role in achieving a favorable outcome. His work has included major litigation resulting in substantial settlements, including a reported $2.7 million medical malpractice settlement involving a delayed breast cancer diagnosis.
