Carlo Bonavita is an Associate Attorney and trial lawyer with more than 17 years of experience handling complex civil litigation. His practice focuses heavily on trucking and transportation litigation, including trucking liability, product liability, insurance coverage disputes, and other high-stakes matters in state and federal courts across the United States. His previous experience representing a major interstate motor carrier and defending product liability claims involving automobile and commercial truck manufacturers gives him valuable insight into the legal and regulatory issues affecting the transportation industry.
Carlo has extensive experience in legal research, discovery strategy, motion practice, and appellate briefing. Throughout his career, he has successfully defended failure-to-warn claims, defeated a federal class action involving a novel employment theory, and pursued punitive damages claims against commercial trucking defendants. He is active with the Colorado Trial Lawyers Association and the Association of Truck Accident Attorneys, and has served in a leadership role with the Colorado Trial Lawyers Association’s Trucking Safety Committee.
