About Andy
Andy Chu is a California disability attorney who has dedicated his career to helping individuals secure the disability benefits they need during difficult times. Since beginning his legal practice in 2003, he has represented clients in a wide range of California State Disability Insurance (SDI), Voluntary Disability Insurance (VDI), and disability-related matters. His experience includes handling complex claims, appeals, and benefits counseling, while guiding clients through the often-challenging disability claims process with practical, individualized advice.
In addition to representing clients, Andy previously served as Legal Director of a nonprofit legal organization, where he supervised attorneys, trained legal staff, and oversaw thousands of disability cases. He also collaborated with government agencies and community organizations to develop programs that improved access to income and housing assistance for people with disabilities. Fluent in Cantonese, Andy is committed to providing knowledgeable, compassionate representation and helping clients understand and protect their rights throughout the disability claims process.
