About Amber
Amber Osborne has been with Wettermark Keith since 2010 and serves as Managing Attorney of the firm’s Veterans Disability practice. Accredited by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, she represents veterans nationwide in claims and appeals for service-connected disability benefits. Amber leads the firm’s VA Disability team and oversees case strategy and development from initial review through appeals before the Board of Veterans’ Appeals and, when appropriate, the U.S. Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims.
Her work in veterans advocacy began in 2014, when she handled—and won—the first VA disability case in the firm’s history. That experience confirmed her commitment to serving veterans, and she continued building the practice until transitioning into its full-time leadership in early 2022.
Before joining Wettermark Keith, Amber worked for the Social Security Administration, where she gained firsthand insight into how federal agencies evaluate disability claims. She joined the firm in August 2010 as a Social Security Disability case manager while attending Birmingham School of Law in the evenings. After graduating in May 2012, she passed the Alabama Bar Exam and was admitted to practice in September 2012. Amber earned her Bachelor of Arts in English, with a minor in General Business, from the University of Alabama.
Her experience inside the Social Security Administration, combined with more than a decade of representing veterans before the Department of Veterans Affairs, gives her a distinctive understanding of complex government disability systems. Amber is proud to advocate for those who served and remains committed to helping veterans obtain the disability benefits they have earned.
